A good factory finish and a touch-up every few years go a long way. We’ll recommend a finish when we quote.
How much does a wrought iron fence cost?
Wrought iron fencing is priced by the linear foot, and the total depends on the height, picket style, finials, number of gates and the ground it runs over. We measure on site for free and give you a written quote.
Can I add privacy to a wrought iron fence?
Yes. We can build the fence with tighter picket spacing, add privacy slats or panels, or combine iron with wood slats for a fence that blocks the view while keeping the strength of steel.
Wrought iron vs aluminum fence: which is better?
Aluminum is lighter and won’t rust, but it is less rigid and limited to stock designs. Steel and wrought iron fencing is heavier, stronger and can be custom-welded to any design. With a good finish and occasional touch-ups, an iron fence lasts for decades.
