Front Entry Gates That Welcome Guests and Keep the Yard Secure
A pedestrian gate is the gate people walk through: the front walk gate, a courtyard entry or the gate at the end of a front path. We build single and double iron front gates in ornamental, arched and modern styles, sized to your opening and matched to your fence or driveway gate.
Add a self-closing hinge, a keyed lock or a keypad so the gate stays secure. Each gate is fabricated in our Sylmar shop and installed by our crew.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a pedestrian gate?
It is a gate sized for people rather than cars, usually at the front walk, a courtyard or a garden entry. It can be a single gate or a double gate for a wider opening.
Can you match my existing fence or driveway gate?
Yes. We match the picket spacing, top style and finish so the new gate looks like it was always part of the set.
Can I add a lock or keypad?
Yes. We can fit a keyed lock, a latch and a self-closing hinge, or prepare the gate for a keypad or electric strike.
Does a pool gate need to be self-closing?
In California, gates in a pool safety fence generally need to be self-closing and self-latching, with the latch out of a young child’s reach. If your front gate is part of a pool enclosure, tell us and we will build and hang it to meet those requirements.
What kind of latch or lock is best for a front gate?
For everyday use, a self-locking gravity latch keeps the gate shut every time it closes. For more security, we can add a keyed lock or a keyless code lock so you don’t have to carry a key.
